Climb the Mountain

So I am off to Chicago for a triathlon with my sister , Then in July I hope to do the Catoctin Challenge with friends ( bike ride in the Blue Ridge)-- this is great fun for me but what I really enjoy are athletic challenges that serve a cause,

I am hoping to organize along with friends a climb up Kilmanjaro in the summer of 2010-- for the Women of the Congo. Women and men are welcome. Spread the word. WE MUST LET PEOPLE KNOW that the violience that happens in the Congo to ALL women from 3 to 73 must end.

Yeah we will make this something. Help me make it happen!

Good luck on the triathlon! What a sport! Especially good luck with the climb, as it is certainly for an important cause. Violence Against Women (and abuse of all sorts) is, sadly, an issue that requires all of us to constantly "shout about it from the mountain tops" because most people just want to pretend it doesn't happen/exist. Keep us posted!
