Praise Reports!

I am humbled greatly, as well as blessed, by a new member of this group who inspired me to start on separate thread, apart from our others, to share our blessings and praise reports.

The day before yesterday she contacted me via PM, and this is what the PM said:

Hi Editor, I was just thinking about you as I was checking my inbox on TBD and had a desire to send you a hug and some flowers. Then I got the desire to pray for you. I hope you are doing ok.

Father, bless your holy name. You are worthy of so much more praise and thanksgiving than I give you Lord. Bless you Lord. Thank you Lord. Father, please surround Editor with Your presence. Lord give her comfort and peace in the precious name of Jesus. Father fill her with Your Holy Spirit. Lord I pray that you would bless her above and beyond her wildest imagination God. Lord give her strength and courage and boldness. Lord I ask that you fill her with joy and increase her faith. Thank you Jesus. Bless you Lord. Father please give her grace and favor with the people she encounters and give her the words to speak to them and cause her to remember Your Word in times of need. Lord Your name is above all names and Your power is above all other powers. There are situations in our lives that only You can turn for our good. We acknowledge Your omnipotence Lord and we bless You for it and for working on our behalf. I am so thankful Lord that nothing is too big for You. Absolutely nothing. I trust You Lord to minister to my friend Editor and to provide all she needs. Thank You Jesus. Bless You Lord. I plead the blood of Jesus over Editor and her family and friends and over her pets and property and over her finances in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for Your great sacrifice and suffering. Thank you Jesus. Bless you Father. In the name of Jesus I ask these things and for Your glory Lord. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done. Amen.

I responded: Wow, I receive that for that is the Holy Spirit praying through you. That was a necessary keeper for me to hold in my heart.

I then was able to provide the "later on" with this which happened yesterday (if you will re-read her prayer for me and see the fine details of her prayer:)

Sharing a praise report of divine blessings of protection of me and my dog and for the finances necessary to function. I knew your prayer for me was timely, perfect, and given through the Holy Spirit. Thank you.

DH went out today with a friend. He asked if I would go to the drug store and whip on over to the grocery store for him.

I did and this is what happened. I NEVER travel without Einstein, (my dog) so he is a witness. LOL

As I went on the State Route (55 mph) and needed to slow down for speed zones, I noted my brakes were soft. I went to the grocery store first and when I came out and ignited my car, applying the brakes first, I noted there were no brakes as my foot when down all the way on the peddle. Blonde as I am, I put it in drive to move forward, and oh, holy moley, the car took on a life of itself. I was able to maneuver it to a distant parking place without hitting anything (albeit over a curb) before I could shut the engine down. Stuck a county away, God still was my Help. DH had given me his mother's AAA card to hold, and with ruthless fibs along the way, a tow truck came out and carted me (and Einstein) home about two hours later without charge.

I was able to witness to not only God's divine protection to all involved in helping me out, (longer story yet) but was also able to give the last ten dollars in my wallet to the tow truck driver who went the extra mile for me, by further taking my car on to a local mechanic he recommended, in which we had heard of good reports and patronized before if I promised not to report him for the amenity extended.

When I think of the three traffic lights I had to stop at and was able to, I am grateful my brakeline had not gone out fully in that moment hitting other cars!

God's banner over me is love!

A further response from this gracious saint was a prayer of praise to our Lord!:

Thank you Jesus. Bless you Lord. Thank you so much for protecting my friend and her dog today and for providing for her the help and finances that she needed. You amaze me Lord. You who created the heavens and the moon and the stars, care about us and individually at that. Its just amazing. Thank you Lord. Bless you Father. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen

PRAISE GOD!! What a wonderful story Ed. How wonderful that brothers and sisters, moved by the Holy Spirit, will pray for one another. And how wonderful that she shared the prayer with you this time, which has served to glorify God to all of us and increase not only your faith, but ours with the hearing.

Here is my praise report. We have a 1995 trooper with 265,000 miles on it. it runs great, but DH sweats the inspection every year. well, this year, the dreaded thing happened. it didn't pass emmissions testing. he took it to our local garage and they looked at the numbers and said he had to go to a specialist. he was very upset by this, imagining a huge bill thta we could not pay.

the Lord gave me calm about it and even a 'word' from a ministry that sends daily emails - that was very specific about receiving bad news, but that the Lord was taking care of it.

first of all, the 'specialist' told us about something called Aircheck Texas, where you can receive financial help if you have to have emmissions work done - if you qualify. we applied over the phone and received the very next day a voucher for $600. Amazing!

we took it to the mechanic on the list and found out that our car HAD passed. the other inspection place did the test wrong. the mechanic on the list did not charge us the $30 he was supposed to, because in his words "it's not fair that you should have to pay twice for an inspection - and the state has compensated me enough for this."

i know it's a small thing, but just an example of how God cares about every detail of our lives and helps us always.

HE IS GOOD AND HE CARES ABOUT US. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!!!

Yes, Editor, this is a very good idea. I love it.

In the past few years I've literally lost many things that were very dear to me. I lost my ability to work; my ability to give massages; my ability to proficiently play the piano; I've lost, due to a necessary move, the city I love; I've lost my best friend; I've lost several other close friends; I've lost my Grandmother; I've lost all of my church groups that I loved participating in; I've lost my health; and I've lost my strength. But, through all of this my God has been faithful. He has kept His word and He has comforted me and He has given me the strength to carry on. He has provided for me. He has loved me unconditionally and allows me to feel His presence. He is restoring me body soul and spirit. He is restoring to me what has been stolen by the enemy. He is giving me hope. He's giving me a new life and a new start. He is answering my prayers to be in full time ministry and He is empowering me. How can I not praise Him. How can I not thank Him. He is everything to me. He is all powerful and He works with my best interest in mind. He can raise the dead and He can raise me up from this crushed state that I am in. I bless His holy Name. Thank you Jesus.

Dear ones, I was PM'd privately by a new member of our group that didn't want to single me out publicly, so I will just explain here.

My DH pays for two AAA membership cards covering all of his 3 titled vehicles. Car #1 car he purchased for himself 8 years ago has been inoperable since last year but he still pays for insurance on it and renewed the licence tag (as he does all vehicles) in hopes that finances would become available to us this year to have it fixed.

Car #2 which I was driving he purchased for me 15 years ago.

Car #3 his mother purchased 20 years ago and the title was transfered to him many years ago. That is our primary source of transportation. Although his mother is 92 and in a nursing home with ALZ, he still honors her by renewing the membership annually since 1988 when first purchasing it as a gift for her.

I called AAA and verified that they would tow free of charge for up to 100 miles. The "tip" I gave to the tow truck driver, was clearly stated by me to him that it was not a "tip" but a thank you for blessing me today. In our rural location the locals who have survived in their businesses often solicit tips in this manner by pointing out the "extra" they felt they did for you. "Tips" are often the only way they can survive. We do not tip every service person that uses this ploy, but we have done so to many in hopes the monetary gift would be a confirmation of the Christian testimony that they heard from us if we spent any length of time with them.

God is my source. Here is my praise report. Last week I was going to work. It was my second day of my new job. Before I left for work, I checked my gas tank. The red empty light was on. I started out for work after some pray time. I made it 3/4 of the way to work and the car stalled and stopped. I manuevered the car to the side of the road.I prayed for some help. My cell phone was not working. Besides, I could not think of anyone that was at home or not working. I waited for a police car. After 20 min of waiting , I tried to open the hood of my car. I could not get the hood open. I started to get back in my car and a man came over and asked if I needed help. I was speechless and shock my head yes. Finally I said that I was out of gas. The man called his friend who had a gas can. After, a few min. the second man came with a full gas can and placed about 3 gals of gas in my car. Then they followed me to the gas station and put $30 of gas in my car. GIVE GOD THE GLORY!!! Praise God! I got to work a few min late. I praise God for directing these good samaritians to help me.
