Aramaic and Hebrew, translated into Ancient Greek, re-translated into Latin, re-translated into English and other languages. What I don't understand is why some folks are obsessed with it. We have two possibilities:
1. You believe it is going to happen, and when it does, then you have nothing to worry about. You will be gone in the rapture.
2. You don't believe in it, or you're Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, or any of the hundreds of other beliefs, then you also have nothing to worry about.
Enjoy TBD, because the LHC is not going to make it go away. Here's how I see it:
1. You believe in black holes, and in that case, you do that because you believe the physics and math of black holes, so they will either not form at the microscopic level under LHC conditions (relativity), or they will under some other theories, either way, black hole physics/math relied upon to warn us about the LHC also predict that they will disappear immediately.
2. You don't believe in black hole physics/math, and in that case there's nothing to worry about.

Well, I had better avoid aiming any passports toward the Orient these days! I heard a story of a man, before WWII, who saw it all coming and wanted to remove his family to the most remote place on earth he could find. His new home: Iwo Jima. :-)

Reminds me of the Mclean family. After the second battle of Manassas, they decided to move away from the war.
Lee surrendered in their sitting room at Appomattox Court House.

hope you don't mind a revival of the topic just for fun. my husband is an LHC geek and sent me this rap video this morning - thought i'd share. (he's not one of the rappers, tho).
it doesn't really work to answer more questions, but it is kind of funny.

Rafae, Not so much you're "not supposed to be here" but your claims are belief based.
Even many of the believers here want some evidence, some science based data, that suggest the end of the world, great cataclysm, whatever.

Fromz ole boy, Ive missed you. Would a quote by Albert Einstein be of any possible use? "I want to know God's thoughts; the rest are details." Do you have enough scientific knowledge to dispel one of your own scientific gods.
The book of Apocalypses has fore told the end for thousands of years. Edgar Cayce and "many" other famous psychic's and seer's have predicted the end, most agree someplace around the beginning of the 21 century.
Science agrees we can get hit by a rock big enough from space to wipe us all out. Science is concerned about the greenhouse affect. Science agrees that a quake in several places could occur and take out a large population. Science is concerned about Aids and other disease that are becoming tolerant to our antibiotics. Science is still discovering mutant and other affects of the nuke bombs we have set off through the years. Science is aware that we still can nuke ourselves out of existence.
I don't know what date they have for starting up that LHC thing, but I've been studying the prophets, seer's psychics etc for a long time. - - - - - -12/22/2012 KISS it ALL goodbye. Have a good 1583 days.

The Mayan Long Calendar. If the people touting that as the end of the world understood it, they'd hide in shame.
Cayce is a home boy for me. Still haven't seen any acceptable proof of his prophecies coming true.
