I am excited to hear this. My husband has played guitar for over thirty years (he started as a teenager) and has written at least 40 songs. We have a personal recording studio in our second bedroom and he really hasn't gotten into the computer software so popular now for recording, but he does have a digital recorder and several guitars and his passion right now is the drums. So, I'd be interested to hear from you just what is the best avenue to get the music out there. Is it reverbnation?

I would say Reverbnation is your best avenue. The widgets from it can be placed on MySpace, Facebook, and other networking sites, thus increasing your visibility. It's an easy site to set up. The main advantage is that you will be heard by other musicians who will offer commentary about your work. You can create a fan base and add other musicians to your page if you like their music.

I personally build free blog pages for anyone who wants an additional web presence. It can be accessed from your Reverbnation.com account as well.
