Where are all the homebrewers?

Anyone brewing these days? I just bottled some honey blonde ale. I have some Irish red ale already closet to half way gone. ::hic::

I just received my hop rhizomes in the mail. I'll be planting those this weekend. I wont get any blooms until next year. But, I'll have hops of my own - and wont have to pay the higher prices that hops are going for now.

I am going to start a small batch of blackberry mead. I have a Kolsch recipe kit waiting to be made. But, first I need to find some room for it once bottled.

Keep me away from the homebrew supply store! I go in for one thing and come out with a whole lot more!!! :)

Hello Zookie.

I just recent;y bottled my latest, a Belgian Wit. Just a hint of citrus. I love that in a wit.

I planted a Centennial rhizome back in March. The sucker is 20 feet tall now and has hop flowers all over it. SWEEEET! I love gardening as well as brewing my own beer so this was a great way to combine the two. Let me know how your hops turn out and what variety you planted. Maybe we can share:>)

Hey. I knew as soon as I saw your pic that you were brewer, probably a hop-head. Very fun. I'm a home brewer too. I was in grad school for a while and that got in the way of brewing, but I'm trying to get back into it, now that I'm returned to Boulder, CO. I've bought honey to start a mead.

Good to know brewers are out there.
