If you have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and are managing your condition by remaining compliant on your medications and following the advice of your doctors and therapists, you are welcome to contribute to this group.
This is not a group for people who are diagnosed and who refuse to stay on their treatment regimen. Those who know what to do and refuse to do it do so at their own peril.
This is not to say that those of us who are compliant do not, from time to time, deal with emotional and other issues stemming from the disorder. That is why the group exists. To alow the professionals to vent, or otherwise gain assistance from a support group for the relatively mild swings in mood that would be alleviated with a kind word or advice from a personal perspective.
If you think such a group would be beneficial to you, please feel free to join. Otherwise, there are other Bipolar support groups here at TeeBeeDee for those of you still struggling with the earlier stages of your condition. To that end, I wish all of you the best.
