Hey Marbles, I am also in a relationship with a man who is almost 16years younger than me. It was strange at first, but we have been together for six years now, and he is the first man that I have really had a good relationship with. He has no children, and my one is grown, but no one really has aproblem with it in our family. As far as maturity goes, he is actually more mature in the way that we act than I am. I love him and he loves me and in the end, that is all that matters because all relationships have problems no matter what ages are involved, so I say to those who think there is something wrong with age difference relationships, DONT KNOCK IT UNTIL YOUVE TRIED IT!!

I'd be very interested to hear what the circumstances were that led to the beginning of your "generation apart" relationship.

My ex was almost 15 years younger, and our marriage ending had nothing to do with the age difference.

So I still feel I'd be more likely to find a new, lasting relationship with the right, and also much younger, woman.

I am on the other end of this equation, my wife is 14 years older than I. We met asl colleagues at work and 13 years later we are still happily married. I always like older women anyways, but it was a little awkward at first till we got over the age difference, it was mostly dealing with what other thought anyway rather than how much we liked each other.
