It never hurts to pick up a different medium sometimes, seriously - I do on occassion, kinda gets me out of ruts.

On the 'new things' note, I actually did a painting the other day. I had this huge canvass sitting in my studio and i had these oil pastels laying around. i do not know how to paint, but really wanted to and decided - what the heck. i actually really love what i did - it was very fun and for a few moments i was considering buying a ton of canvassing and turning into a painter instead of a sculptor. ha!
