I am reading "Shadowfires" by Dean Koontz. I am bound and determined that I am going to read all his books. I have read a lot of them but there are still lots more. I do like Jeffrey Deaver's Lincoln Rhyme series and I plan on reading Broken Window.

Hi all. I enjoy biographies. I am reading Augustus by Everitt and Billy Graham's autobiography. Interesting to read together. Augustus was one who desired to rule; Graham wanted to serve. Both lives influenced millions. Both were influenced in their youth by major figures: Augustus by Julius Caesar; Graham by many preachers

I've been reading a lot of non-fiction books lately.
Currently, I am reading Barack Obama's second book, The Audacity of Hope. Say what you will about his politics, but Obama really is a good writer.

I just finished "Skeletons at the Feast" by Chris Bohjalian which was one of the best books I've read in a long time. It is about the end of WWII in Germany as the Russians are invading. It focuses on the civilian population and the effects of the war and Hitler's politics on them. Anytime a book makes me gasp out loud and cry, I know it's a good one!
I'm now reading "The 19th Wife" by David Ebershoff which is about the early history of the Mormon church as well as a story set in the present day concerning one of the "lost boys" and a murder mystery of sorts. I am enjoying it very much so far!

I just started reading a new English version of The Epic of Gilgamesh! Seeing as I'm heading back to college (after 22 years) to study ancient history, I thought it'd be a good jump-start.
After that I plan to read The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran!

They both sound good Kathie. I love historical novels. Especially ones that make you think.
