I think the Crayola people gave colors their names.
I like colors. I especially like the names of some Crayons. Burnt Sienna is really cool. Ugly color, but cool name. I also like Cornflower blue. My son and I have cornflower blue eyes. I think we have pretty eyes. <batting eyes>

Magenta is a good word yet an ugly color. And just for a little piece to chew this morning - I'm against any color inside a crayon box large than the 6 pack as a color for a car.
And I have baby blue eyes. so Beth - quit copying me.

In some circles it is no longer fashionable to say "Is that green?" Pretentiousness only allows "Is that a hunter green or is it more of a teal green?"
To sound cool you must say these colors, fuchsia, taupe, salmon (definitely not pink).
I can't count how many times when there is a green or brown color on the walls someone will comment that it looks like baby fecalith.
But not in those words.
I finally used the "f" word in a sentence.

I will go along and say quite erudite.
Which is hysterical being I had to look the word up.
