I would vote Jim Croce, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan and Layne Staley/Jerry Cantrell!

Who do you think is the greatest singer/songwriter of all time, any genre (it has to be both.....people like Beethoven don't count. His wife didn't even let him sing in their tub)?

I vote John Lennon. Of course, I vote John Lennon for most everything. I know, get a life Gordon.

I agree 100% with Gordon!

John Lennon I believe is in a class all his own and there is no comparison. I think he is truly the greatest singer/songwriter of all time! I also think that Lennon and McCartney fed off each other and brought the best out in each other almost in a competitive way.

I have had the privilege of being in the room where "Imagine" was recorded.

You might remember the white piano and the white curtains.

I've been there and I know lots of people can't say that.
