"hominem ūnīus librī timeō" is often attributed to Saint Thomas Aquinas, although there are hints that it may be older. Strangely enough, it wasn't always meant as a bad thing, and is used today as a point of pride among radicals to be "a man of one book" (the bible, the koran, Marx, etc).

Is there a single word that describes that state of 'pressure/zealous excitement/panic' a bookoholic has, to read all the books one wants to within the time one has on the planet...?
