That was a great special! I wished that I had seen all of it. How wonderful that all those stars gave of all their time to do that (and the duet with Joshua Bell was great to see!) Thanks for the advice to tune in.

Tune into the major networks now and consider giving. My wife died, she didn't pass away, I didn't "lose her", she died two years ago at the end of June. The cancer in her lung spread to her brain and liver and by the time we discovered it, it was too late. Three months. It was three months from the day she went to the doctor to the day she died. Whenever I think I've passed it, something comes back to remind me. You've all been touched by cancer. Please tune in, and please, at least, think about contributing. Thank you.

My step-mother died from breast cancer that spread to her brain. She was a vibrant woman who lived full force and I admire her very much and am grateful I had her in my life. I give every time I can.

I send you strength during the times you need it most.

I come from a family of cancer survivors. My mom with breast cancer, my dad had prostate, colon and liver cancer, and is still going strong. My sister just got through breast cancer at 53. I give, and am grateful for my family. I feel for all those who have lost a loved one.

Lost my Husband to Lung and Brain Cancer, almost 2 yrs. in Oct. He did not even get a chance to fight it. It was found too late. 14 weeks from diagnosis to death. What a shock. We were together 41yrs. He was my best friend. I know how you feel. You dont want this to happen to anyone else. I and my entire family give, and always will. You have my sincere sympathies. Ya never forget them, but you do go on. And you do learn to live again. God Bless you. Donna

Alan...I'm so sorry you had to go through that. You are carrying on her memory in the most loving way by bringing others attention to the need for more research and a cure.
One of my best girlfriends has bone and liver cancer metastatic from breast. I will give...
