I have to say I have been with acouple of younger women but it was only the physical attraction not really anything in common. That was in the past and I realize now that with an woman my age or even older that there are more in common issues as well as sex which is funner because there is more experiance with an older lover. That's my point!! Thanks

Easy to control...sexy bodies....limited conversations...very little EX baggage..no kids..I believe those are the main attractions! My brother is into them, I like my woman to be from my generation,

the best and most satisfying sex and communications!

I have ALWAYS been attracted to women OLDER than me. but now that I am 50, I am looking at and gravitating to women YOUNGER because I find that women 50 and thereabouts seem to: 1) Lose interest in sex 2) chop off their hair; 3) Gain tremendous amounts of weight. I still find "Older" women sexier than younger, but with and older one you can share coffee and talk and take a walk in the park and snuggle, which is great but...what about raw sexual passsion? Those "older" smart and sophisticated women who are ALSO almost totally disinterested in sex start to seem less attractive than the younger, premenopausal, randy, wet and sexually driven younger women. Hate to say it, but the passion that men and women share sexually really evaporates like the morning dew in the sun at about age 50. That's when MANY (not all) women go into hibernation or "droid-hood" and men wind up abandoned sexually and start to look like lechers (which most of them are not).

I am surprised nobody has written a book on what I could call "sexually abandoned men in midlife."

I'm 47 and have a 18 year old step-daughter that I absolutely adore. The idea of dating a 23 year old just sounds perverse to me, yet many friends my age routinely date women a few years older than their children.

Here are a few of the observations:

1. Payback - some have gone through bitter divorces and squiring around a woman half their age says to their ex, "I traded up to a newer model". It works because I have had my friends ex's ask me who I thought was more attractive.

I never answer.

2. Control - let's face it, many men are control freaks, it's a lot harder to control a woman who has her own life experience and self confidence.

3. Peacock - many men are just parading their virility. Though I have heard many express concern about using viagra.

4. She accepts me as I am - what they really mean is, they have enough money to keep the young woman interested. It amazes me that men do not realize, it is their position and financial stability that attracts younger women.

All situations are different. But as a single man who lives in SW Florida - home to some of the world's most amazing women over 35 - these are the main reasons I've seen my friends desire to date (significantly) younger women.

Then you need to move! I have yet to meet a woman half my age that can sexually compete with most 40 - 60 year old women. It does take more time and effort with women over 40, but once there, they enjoy visiting often!!!

Age within reason is meaningless to me. If i could set my perfect age group for me it would between 30 and 55 with me being 46. That doesn't count anybody out because what really matters is if that woman is on the same page with me in everything from personal interests to how wild she is in bed. Again for me age has never truly been a defining factor of any relationship with a woman.

I pretty much stick to my age group with in 10 years. I did the "daddy" thing once and it was fun for awhile, but she turned into a brat. I think it was because she really liked to get spanked on her bare bottom till it was nice and red.
