So, so sad. Jesus warned us that in judgement, he will say to many "Depart from me, I know you not." I am sensitive to the many people who are hurting, and bitter for various reasons. I wish I could help them in some way. Perhaps someday, before it's too late, the walls will come down, the hardened heart will soften, the eyes will see, and the ears will hear...

You know something, I am right here, you do not need to talk as though I can not read what you are saying. Is that christian, to be so disingenuous? Just to be clear, I am not bitter, nor is my heart hard, not am I blind or deaf or whatever else you would insinuate I am.
Christians, as I have met them tend to be both vocal and judgmental, you know, just like you did. Speaking of hard of heart, deaf and blind, do you not think that you just committed those very actions? Hard of heart, so that you could not even consider the idea that Christianity is not only not 'the' way, it may not even be 'a' way, more like in the way. Eyes blind to God outside of the bible, ears that would be deaf to anything that is not in the bible? Do you serve a living God or a dead book?

WisdomSeed, you have not posted anything that gives an indication you are hurting, so how could I say that you are? You are not the only person reading these posts. I try to be thorough, because Jesus warns us: "But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. for by thy words you shall be justified, and by thy words you shall be condemned. About what you claim as a dead book: God said that the Words that I speak unto you are spirit and life. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Hallelujah!!! HALLELUJAH!

It would be nice if that were not simply believed or consdiered, but it is unsubstatntiated. I know for you Christians, faith trumps substance, but not for me.. You can believe whatever you want to, but that does not make it right.
I do not believe whatever I want too, I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe what the BIBLE says. These are not my words; you need to that up with the author (ref. see GOD)
The only thing here that is unsubstantiated is your opinion. However, the bible has been around for over 2000 years and contains 66 books with written testimonies of prophets, apostles oh, not to mention the disciples. How many books are written based on your opinion since its so permeated substance?
Furthermore, Hebrews 11:1 states clearly, FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.
Faith is substance… more tangible and real than even your wisp existence or mines. It is based on the life and the delivering power of Jesus Christ. I would say that the CROSS-is very substantial, since there is nothing else that can save us from Hell.
So YOU can choose to believe what you want, I am already convinced.
