I'm just so thankful that most of us women don't have to worry about going bald!

I just recently (May) had my hair cut for the first time in a loooonnnggg time. It was down to about the middle of my back and I just got sick of it.
The only thing I could do with it was put it in a ponytail or put barrettes in it (which made me feel like I was 10 years old). I am sooooo glad I cut it.
Last week I had it cut again a bit differently than before and I love it even more! I never thought shorter hair would look good on me but by god it does! It's awesome! I say go with whatever looks good on you and makes you feel good.
I do pledge to never get one of those "bowling lady" poodle cuts I saw referenced earlier in the discussion, I just call that "old lady hair".

Are you sure it's what you think it is?

Ok, my hair is very fine and thin. I had long hair in my twenties and it looked awful. I dont get along with curling irons and styling products either. I keep my hair on the short side because it looks good, and if guys dont like it, I could care less!
I think you're hair looks great, I don't know why guys wouldn't like it. Though some guys are old school, and think that women should have long hair and men should have short hair. You don't want to go out with someone that narrowminded anyway!

Now Jayne, didn't you get the memo ??
"Bald is beautiful !"
Maybe that just meant on men.
Seriously, I've always been attracted to women with beautifil long hair.
So it was easy for my ex to send a clear message when, despite my pleas, she chose to begin keeping her's ultra-short.

Choke.
I'm all for keeping husband happy, but I have my limits. I'll move to a new location, I'll not put onions in food even though I love them, I rarely say a word about his golf obessession, I sleep on the not-my-first-choice Tempurpedic because he likes it and it helps his back, etc. But if he wanted my hair long and I didn't -- that's going too far, I think.
