Well whatever you do stick by me when I am on and I will do what I can to discourage that kind of BS.
Thanks,I apprciate it.I guess I just need to accept that people like talking points and to impress each other with how educated they are and don't want the real world brought in.
After all, where does the real world belong in politics
Thanks again

Does that mean that we would have to do away with all the politicians with experience?
Merry makes a good point.
Term limits sound like a good idea, but that means at the end of the term you automatically fire the people with the most experience at getting things done.
Politics is politics is politics; there's no difference between politics as practiced in any country in this century versus politics in pre-Christian England, Babylon, Pharoah's court, or Athens.
"Take our country back"? Back from what? The place we sent it? If Washington is a monster, then we're all Dr. Frankenstein. We created it. We let it live, breathe, grow.
This self-righteous finger-pointing is bullshit. We have always had the opportunity to change our leaders if we want--it's called voting.
But look at how many US citizens voted in the last presidential election--around 50%. Half, then.
And look at our political culture: We automatically assume every politician is a lying, self-serving scumbag and treat them accordingly. So why do we get our panties in a twist when some pol turns out to be a lying, self-serving scumbag?
We don't need to change Washington. We need to change *us*. Then Washington will change.

You are very patriotic.Great attitude.I didn't say I couldn't afford insurance,I said they ripped me off, they robbed me.They made a condition I was being treated for,for over a year pre-existing,it wasn't.Even the neuro's office said what bluecross did was illegal, but they were known for it.
They stopped paying my dr's,didn't notify me for months. My dr's office didn't notify me whenever I went in.By the time it got to the point where I found out what was happening, the insurance company wouldn't help me by phone.
I was way too sick, having hashimoto's thyroiditis symptoms really bad) to fill out a mtn of paperwork they sent.
So,I wasn't keeping insurance that wasn't paying my dr's.I lost all my dr's.All the premiums I paid them,I would've paid the drs if I had known
Now,I've got 2 pre-existing and can't get insurance.
Sue them
