This isn't new news as its been this way for years. We have cable and satellite companies funneling shit entertainment into our homes for premium pricing.
I generally don't watch much TV at all. This weekend due to weather i have watched more then usual. I have like 90 gazillion channels on Dish Network and i can scan through them and not find a single thing new and entertaining. Even my mainstay educational programs are mostly reruns that i've watched 7 times already.
I saw one good movie this summer *The Bucket LIst* and it didn't rate that high among viewers. I don't care for clones of Batman so i won't pay to see the record breaking one this season by how much money it took in.
I personally think cable and sat should be ala carte. I would be willing to pay 50 cents per channel if i could pick what i wanted only. Then again my bill would probably be 5 bucks a month if i can actually find 10 stations worth watching.
Whats your opinion on this subject and the lack of creativity/ingenuity of people who make our video entertainment for us all the way from writers to actors?
