I am watching Das Vampyr, and it is creeping me out.
Another creepy movie is Kwaiden.
I have also seen Babette's Feast, which is brilliant and I highly recommend.

Sanjuro, the sequel to Yojimbo is also a great film. Battleship Potemkin by Eisenstein wasn't listed but is an influential film. Also Nosferatu, the original vampire movie.

Great list! Was pleased to see two of my personal favorites on there. "Nights of Cabiria" and "Beauty and the Beast".
