In Nov. of 2007 my son and I moved into a different house. On the very first night we were awakened by a horrible hissing and screeching from our cat,Lucy. She is a short haired tabby but when we got to her she was a huge ball of fluff that was terrified. This happened on several nights and we searched the house and never found the cause.
A few days after the cat incident we began to notice items on tables and shelves being moved to different places. No explanation,but with a 10 year old child in the house you figure he just didn't want to own up.
Soon we began to have the problem of lights and appliances going off and on when we weren't in the rooms it was happening in.
My son finally told me one day that it was "Mamie" doing these things.He said he had talked to her and told her that we would leave her alone if she would stop doing these things. This is not unusual for my son,he has always been able to see things that I don't.
Things have been quieter since he said he talked to her. Once in a while the lights are still messed with but the cat hasn't been frightened.
Oh,did I mention that I found out a former owner of this house was named "Mamie"?
