I feel, though, that those who were into name calling as kids and as adults are that way because they are seeking attention. It is sad that their lives lacked that primal need at one point in their lives and they are still seeking it.
To be a child again is going to the beach to play in the water and waves, to play frisbee and to fly a kite. To just let ourselves be like we have no worries in the world, that is to be child-like.
I have put this website out on many threads as I will put it on this thread as well because during their inner engineering they not only talk about being child-like but they take you back to that stage of being a child. We went and played frisbee, dodge ball, capture the flag and a few more games that brought back that child-like feeling. I truly encourage everyone to take that course, it was the best thing I ever did for myself.
Yes I totally agree with you MasterfulTapestry.

Always. Dozing with the dog beside, like I'm 7 without a care in the world.... sitting out on the front porch, watching traffic, petting the dog [and avoiding inane TV shows]....kicking a rock down the walk or a parking lot [and watching it]...trying to pet a toad...eating a ton of ice cream...just because I can.

Ice cream: every chance I get. Toad petting: maybe not so much. lol :)
My daughter and I have a lot of fun just playing music and singing/dancing together - nothing better than that. It feels so good to just put aside worries and laugh, laugh, laugh.
I take back the 'toad comment' . I remember chasing toads with my cousin as a child. If I saw a toad right now, I swear I would chase it and pet it!!!
Thanks Margevans, I feel better already!

It is a interesting idea to be a kid again. Back when I was a kid you would have to fit in with the crowd, and the crowd was some what nasty to kids who didn't look like them. There was some name calling on my part not looking like they did. The good part is now that I am a adult I can say and do anything I want I am rasing my 11 year old we have a great time I figure if I can make him laugh I am doing some right as for my inner child I am not afraid of saying or doing something stupid any more.

Children can be mean but that's because their primary role models (read parents) modeled meanness.
Children can also be very humble and wonderful.
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyonewho will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
Jesus spoke these words when his disciples tried to keep parents from bringing their children to Jesus. They thought he was too busy to spend time blessing children.

Arguing or hurting people's feeling are some negative things about immaturity and it isn't just kids that do that. Taking the high road is the more mature approach even if you disagree with another's point of view. I see nothing fun about that. I would rather walk away thanks. Peace and happiness to you!

Very true - religion and politics are the too hottest topics where all hell breaks loose and people lose their sanity.
Actually, I don't need any topic or activity to be a kid again because I am always a kid - something like peter panette (the girl version).
