What about the rest of the album?

People that know me understand that I am prone to fits of nostalgia. It could be a sudden craving to watch an episode of "H.R. Puffenstuff" or listening to a particular song.

Not long ago I had a sudden hankering for listening to some of the Men At Work singles, like "Who Can It Be Now" and "Down Under." While I was listening to them it occurred to me that I'd never heard an entire Men At Work album. Ever. So I went and got "Business As Usual" twenty-eight years later and listened to it. It wasn't bad.

Then I thought, there's a bunch of singers and bands who have singles that I liked but I've never listened to the rest of the album that the song was on. I remember, for instance, "Too Shy" by Kajagoogoo but I don't know anyone that ever bought the White Feathers album that it was on.

Are there any songs you liked as a kid and are only just now wondering what the rest of the album sounded like?

I remember H.R. Puffenstuff, had a crush on Jack Wild. You bringing it up made me curious about what happened to him.How sad that he died at the age of 53 in 2006.

Well,as far as a song,I don't know if anyone remembers it.It came out when I was in jr high school. It was called D.O.A. I loved the song.I got the single.I no longer have it.Wish I did because they banned it shortly after it came out.

here's the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children's_Heritage/D.O.A.

HR Puffenstuff was one of my favs..

but I seldom listened to entire albums. I DID have the KAJAGOOGOO album as I loved Lamar and I named my cat after the group..lol Funny thing was the cat got that hair disease that made his hair fall out so he ended up with the spikes on top too.

The only albums I really listened to the whole thing on was all of the Eagles, Journey, Prince, Garth Brooks. and a very few others.
