I think if Mr. Obama had at least 3-7 solid years of applied work experience, that he would be so much further along. I see so much complaining from Mr. Obama's supporters and quite frankly, I'm shocked! JUST to see the man heading the Deomcratic party is so huge, yet to his supporters, America is a biggoted nation. I say nonsense! He's running dead even with Mr. McCain who has longevity behind him... and that's still not enough to prove how fair the country and it's people are? He's side by side and that means skin is "not a determining factor." Using skin color as an excuse or creating an issue out of it bothers me, when I see how far (in all reality) Mr. Obama has come... "a presidential candidate and holding right around 50%". A nobody who has a chance to become president and yes, he's black man... Still, you brand the country as racist becuase of a handful of ungodly people. That's wrong. I think the world of Colon Powell and also Condoleeza Rice and they would have my vote as leaders in any venture they persue in life, including guiding/leading their country.

Nobody suggested to him that as a movie star that he need 3-7 years of solid applied work. What is the substance of being a movie star versus a senator and a community organizer? We all know however the insignificant importance of a community organizer. We try to pretend that racism is all but gone and just a few bigots exists but that attitude is engrained in everyone who has sat at their dinner table and discussed the subject of how terrible Blacks are.My biggest worry won`t come from Obama not getting elected for being Black but it would if it was because he is not smart enough and wise enough. My last question is this. Would Obama get elected if he was an actor and movie star and white? Regean made it,why not Obama? |
