You can get the link from my interests section in my profile for a techno ambient tv theme mash up that includes Bjork, Chemical Bros, Kraftwerk, simian mobile disco, klaxons and more.
ChoppercatDJ, that's me, made it and I guess the link is okay to place here.
2hr set : [mashup]

The mp3 is the same but some older technology will not support splashcast on desktops, etc.

I "discovered" a band out of San Francisco called "Return to Mono" which I really like. I say discovered in quotation marks because an art magazine I subscribe to used one of their tunes on their MySpace page.
So far they seem to be strictly local to the Bay Area, but they quite good. If you want to give them a listen check them out here;

Four of their songs are here in their entirety. I like them so much I bought two CDs. One for me and one to share. Andrew Sybilrud and Jim Paulos instrumentation is excellent, but it's Tanya Kelleher's vocals that tips it for me.

I'm listening to a lot of Brian Eno, who sort of flirts on the borders of electronica, techno and ambient.
...
Eno is great. I like his Ambient stuff as well as some of his song albums. I used to play On Land when insurance/sales people visited me in the early 80s, just to put them ill at ease. I love Taking Tiger Mountain and Another Green World too.

the closest I get to techno is Rob Zombie's CDs, which I absolutely love.
