I met a wonderful woman. We have been seeing each other for about 6 weeks. Early on she told me that she has been on her own for many years and likes it that way. She has been hurt in the past (Who hasn't?) We really enjoy each others company and have many things in common.
On our second date she hugged me. On the third I requested a hug. On our last date she stayed on the perimeter of the room seemingly to avoid any potential physical contact. Maybe I'm just stupid, but could it be that she is avoiding contact because she's afraid to let go? Or is she just not that into me?
Her pattern has changed and she has called me each of the past 4 days. Very unlike her. Previously I had to call. I'm very confused on where to go with this woman. I am really smitten and have been since the start. But, I really want a "normal" adult relationship with her. Am I wasting my time trying to be patient and win her trust?
