Yeah, I know I'm terrible with it and very touchy about being corrected even though I suck at it. NO, I would never correct anyone's words. They've got spell check and I'm sure they have checked it out...that's their choice.

I had a stroke about 11/2 ago and sometime I have trouble with my spelling and remembering and with one arm working most of the time I have been know to miss spell or forget to hit spell check not meaning to but it happens I mean no rudeness to anyone I am here to have fun and meet friends which I have lots of but sometimes some people can correct you and that can be embarrising and make you not what to post so I just keep on keeping on and hope I get better at this! thanks for listening....flowers to you all!

As a writer with an English degree, I loathe bad grammar and bad spelling. However, I do realize that over 90% of the people in the world do not have English degrees, and do not care about their usage of the language. (That bothers me as well, but that's fodder for another discussion.) I think it's rude to publicly correct others about their behavior. However, I do openly correct everyone in my immediate family. They should know better!

My son corrects me all the time and he's 13 - it really bugs me and he knows it that is why he does it - it doesn't have a postive impact in changing the way i talk - i'm from Alabama and was raised by some white trash hill billies and some things just stick - he's lucky i didn't raise him that way and he got to get away and go to better schools.

The last time my verbs conjugated I was left witha whole passel of verb pups I had to give away. Try to have them verb neutered or something. LOL
