Erik, I appreciate your comments and for reminding us not to focus on the negative things that are going on in our society today financially, but rather forge ahead, hoping for the best.

i don't know if i agree that that will attract good things (i.e. financial prosperity) to me or not. but it's definitely worth a try and better than the alternative of cowering in fear and burying my talent in the ground. God has not given us a spirit of fear.

i can't agree with your concept that there is no good or bad because both are present in all things. gracious, what does that even mean? so if i put some poison in a glass of water (good water/bad poison) i can still drink it with no ill effects - if i think positive and look at it in a positive way?

Well for years small amounts of arsenic have been ingested to relieve certain ailments. Sometimes poisons in small doses are ingested as medicine. But the point is more, you can choose whether to pour poison into your drink or just have your water "death free".

As for good and bad that is an absolute. The Law of Polarity says that for all things there are two sides. The two sides are in opposition. There are no problems without solutions, no good without bad, no up without down. You have to choose how you look at something. Do you choose to look and see only a problem, or do you see only a solution? But know that one excludes the other. In other words, If you find a solution to a problem it is no longer a problem, then it is just a task. The solution mutes the problem.

It is the same with everything. Once you see and hold to one thing you exclude the other and the one side becomes a primary choice. So once the secondary has been moved to that position it fails to hold importance of potency.

If you look at a Hurricane and see the devastation of it as it makes landfall you might say "Oh how horrible. Look at the damage or destruction. Where is the positive in this?" Well the positive is that Hurricanes are natures cleaners. Hurricanes sweep away old and weak trees, move debris, refresh the lands etc. They perform a wonderful task, but it is point of view as to whether or not it is good or bad. Certainly it contains both possibilities, thus there are both sides in this, just as in all things.
