Goodness's post about family affection brought back an unpleasant and disturbing memory of a realization I made in my late twenties/early thirties. It became apparent to me that the majority of sisters that I came in contact with had, at one point, been molested by someone in their family. I was heartbroken. My folks had instilled in us that incest was a most horrible of sins. I found it hard to fathom someone doing that to their own kin. Is this something that only I have heard of or worse, is it more widespread than I hoped it wouldn't be?
