What are you trying to accomplish?
I have basic issues with these types of programs...those keyboards that light up the keys you should hit, and these kinds of guitars as well. They are a crutch that will slow down your learning quite significantly. This is especially-so with guitar since you want to learn the muscle-memory of chord structures or scales rather than spending time looking for lights to tell you the next place you need to put a finger. Just look at a printed chart then practice, practice, practice. :o)
And a suggestion - I recently discovered tons of music lessons on YouTube! While I'm a rather accomplished guitar player, I bought a violin for the fun of it and have been using YouTube videos to learn how to play it, with decent success. You may want to give that a try!

Yeah, I kind of tend to agree. As a player for 35 yrs and teacher for 14, I look at it like this: Im sure its got its advantages. However, those guitars arent cheap, and Id rather spend the 600 on a nice guitar, amp, and some lessons, or instructional course or something. Learn music and you wont need the lights. (Although Ive thought about buying one just for the visual! The lights would probably confuse me though.)
If youve got a bunch of dough lying around to burn and its what you want, go for it. It might be hard playing a regular guitar after that though, which would suck. Id say spend the money on an American Strat or a nice Gretsch or something, and then when youve learned how to play youll be playing a real nice instrument as well.
