And that would be a bad thing? Radio was made for music.
Talk radio ruined the one of the best radio stations on the air,
WBAP in Ft. Worth. Had some of the best country and western disc jockeys ever. Had the Bill Mack all-night Truckin' Show. You folks out there around the Metro-plex know what Im talking about. I was listening the afternoon that Don Harris hosted the last music show on WBAP. The last song he played, much to station management's dismay, was "American Pie" by Don McLean. He was pretty vocal about his feelings of the format change. The station is still on the air....nothing but right-wing blow-hards telling their non-thinking audience what to think and how to act.

Bob Stepp I miss the old radio days when there was music and some radio theater--it was actually FUN to listen to radio. And now TV is going into the dump with all of those "reality" shows. Glad I have DVD's of my favorites to see me through!!!! roxley

Bush is no conservative
Corporate protectionism is not a conservative tenat
Hannity is a Big OIl apologists
Limbaugh is the most self-promoting windbag on the planet
Traditional values?, Conservative values?...count me in,...but these two arent the leaders of that choir.
Bush conservative on taxes, judges, national defense. the big 3 - not on others? I can agree with that.
Corporate protectionism? explain
Big Oil apologist? Legitimate company, employing thousands of Americans, producing a product we need, makes profits for shareholders and to further expand oops can't expand, can't build refineries, can't drill where there actually is oil. What to do with the profits? Keep 'em. NO wait waste them on alternative energy which is unproven (profit and loss) and is not their area of expertise. There's plenty of other people getting government grants to do that anyway. Hannity doesn't own oil stock, but I do. Am I a big oil apologist?
Limbaugh biggest windbag? Lots of others come to mind (Donald Trump) who don't offer others a chance to chime in. He also pioneered talk radio which was the only venue to get a fuller vetting of topics of the day due to the 3 hour time allotment, and give and take with callers of alternative points of view.
Limbaugh and Hannity definitely traditional, conservative values promoters. Traditional marriage, smaller government, personal responsibility, stuff like that. Not sure where you disagree.
I don't listen to Oreilly, and I don't put him in the same category with Rush, Hannity and Levin.

Hey, I know--we could sell Alaska to China for 900 billion dollars
that would take care of the bailout and not cost the taxpayers a thing!!!
Too funny Roxley...LOL...Thank You for that.

Yep! Used to be a "one button" station on my Hubby's radio in his truck. Not anymore. Just too sad.
