Sunday: What can I say?

Is this your last chance to do those weekend things you wanted to get done before Monday? Or is it your last chance to rest up for the busy week ahead? Check in with My Clique to let us know you're still alive there in the Laz-E-Boy.

I feel like I've been going full-bore since Thursday night. Board meeting,, elementary school carnival, defrosting an old-fashioned refrigerator, needle arts guild, grandson over night... And I still have so many chores to do to get ready for the work week starting tomorrow.

I think I'll go take a nap first. I can't even stay awake to watch the last recorded episode of Heroes.

I'll check in later. If I snore, just lower the cone of silence around me.

Hi Baia and happy Sunday to you!! Sounds like you have been super busy! Hope you are feeling good too! :)

I'm checking in for about five minutes before returning to "work." My full time job - I'll log into my VPN and finish emails, work orders, etc...I just finished up my part time job and ran to the grocery store and bank before coming home. The produce guy told me they have all these free recipes on a rack...who has time to cook?? LOLOL

I want a nap!! And I do snore so everyone would have to clear out. ;)

Actually, I'm going to cut up the strawberries I bought, enjoy those and finish work.

On a happy note, I did come home to a spanking clean home (swept, vacuumed, dusted, etc...)thanks to my 16 year old daughter Julia. What a great present for me!!

Well, it looks like it was a busy day in real life. That's what so great about virtual life ... no responsibilities, no regrets. It's here when you need it and can wait until you have a minute.

I'm glad you had a minute to check in, Gypsy. Your daughter is a good girl. I hope you enjoy your evening together and have a wonderful, restful night's sleep.

Sunday is the day my X comes to pick up the girls. We have breakfast then find things to do together. Yesterday it was play frisbee, ride bikes and pack...... with a minimum of cleanup.....

Thanks very much!! We did have a very pleasant evening and I'm often very blessed by her. She faithfully took VERY good care of me in July when I was recovering from surgery. All my kids are special in many ways, her specialty is caring and thoughtfulness.

Yes, I did. And a good thing, too. Thanks for asking. It was just what I needed to round out a very busy weekend.

This week looks like a big week for writing, so I might not get to do much in TBD, but I'll be thinking of all my friends even though I might not get to communicate much until the end of the week. I can't believe how fast the month has gone! It will be Halloween any minute now.
