I'm so sorry for u'r misfortune. I also have a 18yr old cat, I love dearly. She's been with me through everything, even out lasted my marriage, & my kids growing up. And thx so much for the photo, what a beautiful morning, we don't c much snow here in east Tx.

This is adorable! I too, often watch or read "The Secret", gotta keep focused, & good thoughts coming.

Busy! Busy! Busy! I lost our garage door key card last evening and was swearing to myself. The cat immediately snapped into action as he always does when I am grumpy and attacked my wife. That got me to laugh (wife didn't appreciate the humor).

Later it's off to work, pick up wife 1t 5:30. Go to gym, sleep then start all over again tomorrow.

Saturday is a special day

Its the day we get ready for Sunday

We call it our

"get the work done day".

And we won't have to

work until Monday.

You get the idea--a little song I used to sing with my kids when they were little. And now that they've all grown and moved on, I get to do all the Saturday work. Funny, with the kids all grown and gone, there doesn't seem to be quite as much to do!

Except laundry. One of life's great mysteries--how can two people still have as much piled on the folding table in the laundry room as seven people did? I still haven't conquered the mini-Mt. Everest downstairs but am making progress.

Time to bring the puppies in for their morniing kitchen visit--then I'll mop the floor!

Thanks everyone for your welcoming words! I'm up for a while now -- when I work 3rd shift I usually sleep a few hours, get up for a few, then take a nap in the evening before going back to work. Besides, it's a beautiful, sunshiny day and it seems a shame to be asleep!

My two beagles are very happy to have me up for a while. When I switch back and forth from 2nd to 3rd shift, they get very confused and can't quite figure out when to sleep and when to be awake! When I came home this morning they were ready to play -- looked at me with very sad eyes when I laid down in bed. Poor babies!

Just thought I'd check in and see how this post progressed throughout a day since I'm new here. If I get too chatty, just let me know!
