Morning Gene!
Ok I don't use that exact phrase - I've alternated it a bit. I really curse like a sailor. Which always seems to surprise people.
I was in a neighborhood coffee shop last winter and this college student approached me because he recognized me from my blog - which was very cool actually - but we started talking and he stopped and looked at me and I asked him what was wrong and he said "wow, I'm sort of surprised how you talk." and I asked him why and he said from my writings he figured I was very religious so he was shocked I swore. yeah.
Anyway - I told him that I was prevented from using one name in vain - not all four letter words - and that's when I realized you can disappoint people who don't even know you. Odd huh? Ok anyway - have a great f*cking day people!

Letterman. I like his wit. although I haven't watched him in 20 years. I don't watch tv. And I haven't laughed at Leno ever.
I loved Johnny Carson. And I loved Linda Ellerbe. Does anyone remember her? She used to be on NBC Overnight. I used to also watch PBS late night with a guy named Dennis. But I can't remember the name of the show or his last name.
Good morning crew! Happy Tuesday!

Good Morning All: I do remember Linda Ellerbe. She died of cancer didn't she? I remember her well & really liked her.
It would have to be Letterman for me as well. I, too, liked the days of Carson & the guests of ole & the way they all would stay on the set & clown around together. Many Many times one of the "RatPack" would be on & the others would show up. Had the audience up on their feet w/ applause & had us all ROFLOL Aahhh how things change.

I had to scrape ice off my car windows this morning! What's up with that? I just got used to sneakers after sandals--I'm not ready for snow boots, yet!
Happy Groovy Tuesday everyone!

I prefer to blame Craig Ferguson for having the Smothers Brothers on his show this morning. They were killing me. Well, that is after I got done playing Josephine the Plumber for my house mate who was having a problem with his bathroom sink...

Smothers Brothers...the best. At one time they appeared on talk shows along w/ Lily Tomlin Steve Martin Robin Willians & Billy Crystal (I think that Billy was the youngest)but FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY and when the shoe was over it was like huge let down.

Ooooh, Winnipeg, such a beautiful place! Took a bus there way back when on my senior trip. I remember they sold flowers on the streetcorners.
Pleased to meet you, maggieh! Yes, they won. Go, Vikings!
Groovy Tuesday to The Crew!

Nice to meet you too. Glad you had a chance to go through Winnipeg in the summer time. It is quite nice, winter on the other hand can be a bit chilly!
