HAVING an affair can cost you more than your marriage: it can be fatal, scientists have found.
The strain of juggling married life and a secret lover leads to stress and tension for the cheating partner.
Migraine headaches which can cause a fatal aneurysm, or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain, can also hit straying partners.
Professor Pinessi, a neuroscientist, said his team studied hundreds of Italian patients who reported migraines. Some of the worst affected were having affairs.
"What we found is it was mostly men who suffered worst from this phenomenon, which is all to do with stress and hypertension," he said.
