Ok, I found the Subversive Knitting. It's amazing!!!! Oddly, when I first went to the museum's home page and searched for it, itcame back with nothing for a result under "subversive knitting." Go figure!"
But it's absolutely fascinating!! Wish I could see more and up close and personal! Oh well.

It looks really cool Rhia. I wish neither of us was on disability, and that we could afford to go. The whole thing looks fun.

Often it means a spot where gravity is somehow defied. (i.e. water runs uphill or things dropped fall at an angle, etc.) I enjoy little quirks of physics like that.

Jet Blue is offering a discount to festival attendees and if you go tho this page on their site they have discount arrangements with some nice local hotels http://www.festivalofthewise.com/travel/travel.html
We should also look to set up a ride share- I know a lot of people from Ca are coming.

Melle, I was looking at that subversive knitting and lace exhibit. That looks cool!
What could be better than controversial crafts!?!
Knitting and lace, and TBDers, and I know there's no way I could go. What a bummer.
