Favorite photos of our region to share :

Let's use this thread to post some of our favorite pictures that show the beauty of, or some interesting activities in our corner of the world.

In case you don't recognize it, the photo I have downloaded to currently be our group's photo is the original Administration building, known as "The Rotunda" at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.

If you also put some of your photos in your TBD profile scrapbook, I should be able to copy them and rotate the best ones (you all can vote for them in this thread) to take a turn at being the group's "Signature" photo.

P.S. And would you all please invite any of your other TBD friends who also live in our area to join us in this group.

The coast of North Carolina is wonderful. Miles and miles of beaches....not crowded....Emerald Isle is a sleepy little town, family beach.....I'll go out today and take some pictures of the beach!! But here is our view.....just 3 rows from the beach......a morning sunrise. I don't remember ever getting up at this time of day, but it sure is beautiful....
