I will continue as well WM, but not with these people. Like MrWrite said, it's just like banging your head against a wall. Our energies and efforts are better spent on people who are more concerned with issues of humanity, equality and freedom and less on greed, entitlement and hypocrisy.
unfortunately there are roughtly 85 percent of the electorate who have already made up their minds and the reds and blues are working on the 15 percent of the public who are still undecided for some strange reason - either they've been sleeping for the past 8 years or they are deeply conflicted, internally. we have to keep at it because there are those on these threads who are searching for information that will inform their decisions and if the only side they are seeing is that of fear mongering, hate and desperate lies, then they need to see responses that are about working together, a new future and the truth.

You're right. I'm just sick of the slugfest.

you have principled responses, as opposed to the irrational straight refutation, 'fuzzy math' and 'hazy facts' the neo-cons lay out.
i was listening to a talk radio show yesterday. there was an nra guy who was spewing some errant propaganda he received from the mother ship about obama taking his assault weapons away in bismark, nodak.
sheesh...
then the neo-con 'baby killer' rap... yikes...
it's tough work, but the reds are good at it and they haven't been challenged like they have been this time around.

We started out as the #1 nation in Internet penetration, and we're now so far behind on universal broadband access. All of it happened under the Bush administration. Necons like to point to verbal gaffes and how they are misinterpreted, but forget that hardly any progress (relatively speaking) has been made since the Supreme Court handed Bush the presidency nearly 8 years ago.
All our efforts to change that have not made a difference.
Add to that McCain's stance on net neutrality and it becomes clear that the Bush/McCain administration would like us to be even further behind.

Let's see how many insults just in this one post: '10' at least
irrational
straight refutation
fuzzy math
hazy facts
neo-cons (x 2)
spewing errant propaganda
mother ship
'baby killer' rap
reds haven't been challenged like . . .
I don't see one positive or refreshing comment made here, kaerupix. Are you and your friends going for records on "spewing hatred"? WM, take note.

mmmm . . . where is the hate mongering coming from? '6'
Either they've been sleeping for the last 8 years
or are deeply conflicted, internally
if the only side they are seeing is fear mongering, hate and desperate lies
Not a great way to role model "working together, a new future and the truth."
