I am new to TBD, and I was looking through the discussions to see if I could find anything about adults with ADD. One man, nearly a year ago brought up his situation, nearly identical to mine, only I have suffered (and continue to deal with pretty well) serious depression since my childhood and at age 59 was diagnosed with ADD!
That is all beside the point, as i looked through the discussions I noticed that very few garnered more than 15 or so responses at the outside. And that made me wonder if the rest of the world still sees us a whack-jobs, or if we are so profoundly troubled by our own illnesses, that we have no room for compassion for others, or are we ashamed?
I deeply hope that it's none of the above
Sure sex is more fun to talk about but double entendres and meaningless flirting gets old.
Anyone have any ideas?
