† 29. Prayer today for Jo Lewis and husband Bob: Father God, we are mindful today that Jo has not been with us for awhile now and we are uncertain what their health concerns are at present. We do know that they continue to need Your love lavished upon them, Bob's continuing employment, blessings upon their children, and the support of friends throughout their many trials.
We would ask You, in the name of Jesus, to send to Jo and Bob great strength of mind, spirit, faith and heart and the blessings of health. May they know that we are still here for her and that You are with her always. Amen
♬ 29. I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
Refrain
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.
Refrain
I’d stay in the garden with Him
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling.

What a classic hymn, Thank you Editor, I have always loved this one.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:3-4
Dear Lord as we pray today we think of the time we spend alone with you in our gardens and how you are forever with us, guiding us, protecting us. The promises you have made in your living word of how things will someday be, how the old will pass away and all things will become new. No more pain of sorrow, no more grieving or shedding of tears. Lord you offer us glimpses of this daily and we praise your name. Be with us today, guide us, comfort and protect us, in your name we pray.

† 30. Prayer today for Gayle: Father God, Gayle has a current health issue and we bring it before You and ask for a healing touch and help for any depression and fear that she might have. With her diabetes she is experiencing edema in her feet and ankles and it has been persistent. We ask that You to return her to wholeness.
We ask You to continue to help her manage her pain and other illnesses and rejoice in any day that her symptoms do not flare-up.
We ask you to help her sleep patterns.
We thank You for the close-knit family that she has and how they care and help each other in their illnesses. She is grateful to You, Jesus, for each day of life and the abundance of daily blessings You give that others tend to overlook.
We are grateful for the many TBD friends that she has made here that has kept loneliness at bay, especially for those in her age group.
We are grateful for her heart of gold as she continues to reach out to others in need and help them.
There are many evidences of Your love surrounding her and we ask You to grace her with Your Presence today to renew her strength and faith and peace. Amen
† 30. Because the Lord is my shepherd,
I have everything I need.
He lets me rest in the meadow's grass
ad He leads me beside the quiet streams,
He restoreth my failing health
and He helps me to do what honors Him the most;
that's why I'm safe
safe in His arms.
Chorus:
When the storms of life are raging,
and the billows roll;
so glad He shall hide me safe in His arms.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6

Thank you editor, and southerbl, I am ever thankful for the prayers. I am limiting my time online, as I can't sit up at the computer (desk top, not laptop) for very long, but I do check here, and the friend chat in Christian by Choice, every day I get on.
I continue my prayers for everyone, I don't need to sit to do that. Sitting with my legs elevated is also giving me more knitting time. I wonder how many charity baby blankets I can finish while I'm down?
