True love! Money can't buy happiness.
Well, sweetsum1, it can buy the closest thing to happiness most in this world will ever know. Yes, there are things more important than money, but you may not be loved for them. And try finding love or friends when you are broke and on the street....It is a paradox, is it not? (smile). I am speaking from a male experience, of course. Poor women can find love and friends a lot easier than poor men can. This is one of the facts of life most men learn very early.

I hear ya! Everytime I go to Vegas I see a whole lot of 50ish men with 20sh women. thinking they bought the love....Oh Yeah! Love though for sure. I'd even trade the money for someone that would put up with me.

I have experienced both... money and no love and love with just barely paying the bills. Nothing like the real thing! Money can lead to power and control (and huge egos). Not my cup of tea thank you : )

Oh, sorry. I guess now that I am old and rich, we could not possibly be friends, much less have a relationship...(?) (wink) Strange...When I was young and broke, I could be "liked" a lot, but not loved. Now that I am old and rich, I can be liked a lot, but not loved. What is wrong with this scenario?
