This is a really fun discussion. I feel so "normal" here!

Many years ago, I took cake decorating classes. So it was my friend's birthday at work. I made her a cake and did such a beautiful job decorating it...with purple flowers, her favorite color, it came out magnificent if I do say so myself...I put it in a large Tupperware container with the almost-see-thru type of high dome lid. I backed out of my driveway and started down my street on the way to work and noticed something out of the corner of my eye - it was the Tupperware container ROLLING DOWN THE STREET next to my car, with the completely smooshed cake very visible through the lid... Needless to say, I had to bring it to work and tell everyone my story, how I put it on the roof of the car and forgot all about it as I got in and left my house. I never lived that one down either, the next time it was anyone's birthday at work! (we did scoop chunks out and enjoyed it anyway)

Oh come on now Felicia - I know there's another story or two (or three) you can share...come on...I bet if I sat here long enough, I could tell quite a few more...like the time my husband found the peanut butter jar that I had been looking for FOREVER...in our mailbox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess I had it in my hand when I went out to get the mail...

This is very funny!

I realized you were normal when I read the last line.

I hope you stuck a candle in the honoree's scoop!

I am so happy I am not the only forgetful person.

And some of these stories are way too funny

Thanks for the big grins today (and a few chortles, too)
