TeeBeeDee’s longest running group, TWG (The Writing Group), is seeking a new group leader. As he announced recently, lostmutt is stepping down October 1.
I have a special place in my heart for this group, having founded it back on August 2, 2007. When I stepped down at the end of April I knew I was handing the reins to the right colleague. lostmutt has done a superb job not just in managing this group but in growing it, developing it, bringing new ideas and creative lifeblood to it. He will be sorely missed by all.
TWG needs a writer at the helm, and one with a strong bias toward fiction. Whether published or not, whether writing daily or just when the spirit moves—the leader of TWG must hold writing as a core passion.
To be clear, there is no compensation for this role, but I can assure you from experience the rewards are ample.
