Is intimacy a necessary prerequisite for good sex?
Is intimacy a necessary prerequisite for good sex?
First let's understand the meaning of prerequisite:
Definition: Required or necessary as a prior condition.
With that being defined, it would depend on the condition or the objective leading into the "purpose" of the sex you are seeking.
1. If you're out for "Just Sex" then intimacy is not a "prerequisite" it is just "let's get to it and leave out the fluffy crap and f*ck me!"
2. I want the intimacy and all that it brings before we "have sex".

No. For me the intimate relationship always has to be there. Without it sex seems so incredibly empty and cheap. But with the intimacy I can then either have the slow romantic tender kind or the fast lusty sweaty kind. Whatever mood hits us.

I think the only prerequisite for good sex is that both people have the same goal. If they both want intimacy, then they will have good sex. If they both want sweaty sex, then they will have good sex. Good sex is about being on the same page in what you want.

I have found that sex without intimacy for me is just mutual masturbation. It feels good but once you have that orgasm, it's over.

My vagina is forever directly connected to my heart.
