If you're listening to Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, and Badly Drawn Boy, check out www.pitchforkmedia.com. They have the broadest coverage of new and smaller label music, as well the more well-known stuff. Great reviews, too. In the meantime, check out these bands.

I gra... ![]() I have found emusic.com addictive. It is a very cheap way to buy music (less than $0.25 per track). On the one hand, the have tons of great stuff, but on the other hand, they don't have much that you would find currently in, say, Wherehouse. (Are there even still bricks n mortar music stores anymore? The one near me has gone dark.) They have lots of great Jazz, more obscure rock, lots of gospel, tons of world music... the list goes on. Albums that are selling briskly generally don't make it to eMusic, but not all great music is on the most popular albums. But that doesn't answer your question, does it jewelz? Here's something (relates to another tbd discussion) - go to Pandora.com and create a radio station, seeded with Arcade Fire, Badly Drawn Boy, and Amy Winehouse. Pandora will play you music (full cuts) from these and similar artists. It is easy, nothing to download and install. Try it! As the song becomes more popular, the prices rises. It's a great way to buy new music on the cheap!
