I wrote it. It's called "Say Hello to Love" - kinda jazzy in a NRBQ/Joey Spampinato kinda way.
As a musician, I have played my fair share of first dances, and one of my favorites is "I Love Her, She Loves Me" - an NRBQ song. Least favorite has to be "Always and Forever"....
Nobody has ever requested "This Guy's in Love" (Herb Alpert) or "The Look of Love" (Brasil 66) - two tunes that would make great first dances.
Now..."Ode to Joy" as a first dance? That sounds like walking down the aisle material to me. At a recent wedding we played "Happy Trails" for the recessional. Surprised the bride and groom but they loved it....:)!
Next time around (next life, maybe) my first dance will be "Come Away With Me" - Norah. When I first heard that song I broke down and cried like a baby.

What is so heartening is how many of the younger generation(s) know and venerate Beatles music.

Hmmm...If someone isn't a Beatles lover, makes me wonder......
I have performed "It's Only Love" as a first dance at many weddings.
