No apologies necessary just excitment over a new toy.
New bike for Christmas, rode it until I couldn't pedal anymore.
New train set for a birthday ran it until I fell asleep.
Thank God I still have the energy to enjoy life, I can project my energy a less enthusiastically for the benefit of all.

Been there done it
Why relive it?...
Peter Allen of The Daily Mail re ported today that Actress Marion Cotillard said that the "9/11 attacks are made up", and she also queried the 1969 Moon landings.
Well Boomers this is one reason the The Boomer Capsule and Boomer Media presentation is important.
Celebraties have a built in audience to question the foundations we built for our grandchildren. We need to witness for future generations what our parents did for us, and what we did for ours.
Not because we had or have all the answers, but because the truth matters. Without truth lessons learned, as well as advantages gained, become stunted if not meaningless.

The term Bullseye dervices from the Latin "Bulla" meaning small round object.
Pistachios are red if they are imported, and the natural color from Califormia.
That is because Pistachios grow in the desert. Pistachios fall to the ground when ripe.
In California they have nets under the trees to catch the ripe nuts. Outside of California the hot ground discolors the shell and they use the red dye to make the nut appear unifrom.
Three sheets to the wind>>>>>>>>>>
A drunk wobbles and falls over.
Windmills have four arms, on heavy wind days you run two sheets to turn the windmill.
On light wind days you run four sheets to turn the windmill.
You never run three sheets to the wind because the windmill would be out of balance and you could cause it to fall over.
Some fun facts for my new friends.

What a great experience, a site dedicated to my gene...
I was on the Internet and I happened upon www.boomercapsule.com

I'll check it out...sounds good! I wrestle with the dichotomy of getting good vibes from re-living these great memories, vs spending TOO much time trying to go back in time....all too often I've caught myself telling the kids, "In MY day.....," then realize that although even college memories are crystal clear, it's stone age stuff to them.
...just had a buddy send me back by bringing up 'library card catalogue'....yeah, the heavy wooden drawers that look like first generation Rolodexes.
I also find myself mesmerized by the 1/2hr commercials for Time/Life CDs about groups from the 60s, and the Midnight Special DVDs...
...anyone see Peter Frampton in that in that current insurance commercial? I'd've never recognized him...I'm still looking for him in the long hair from 'Frampton Comes Alive'! Guess time marches on.

I saw Peter Frampton in an airport lounge about ten years ago and never would have recognized him without the hair, had my friend not figured it out. It's not an age thing I don't think, she's 9 years older than i am!

Yeah I guess evolve or go extinct.
But looking back can give you sense of how fast time passes and you appreciate the moment much more. Elvis, and others who for moment appeared to have it all suddenly gone.
I Remember wishing it was me dancing with Ann Margaret.

I should mention that if anyone really wants a 60's music experience, I caught the Rain [Beatles tribute band] concert last year and was in awe. I was never a huge Beatles fan, but was absolutely astonished...I felt like I was THERE at the 1963 Ed Sullivan show. I'm glad I didn't buy the cheapest tickets.
