BTW, I have no argument with the fact that we have little to choose from this time. But, it has pretty much always been that way. My point is:It is time for a "counterbalance". Of course the Dems will screw up. But, the republican "machine" needs to be stopped for a while. It's about balance. Believe me: I think they are ALL skewed in some way or another. But, a dynasty must be stopped at all costs. I can't get over this uneasy feeling that there is something VERY BAD on the horizon. Those in power are contemplating something NOT for the general welfare or good of the US people. I could be wrong. But, I just can't shake that "sense" of something dire in the wind. 12 to 16 years of ANY party is going to wreak some sort of havoc and establish precedents we may not like.

And have you ever picked up a Qur'an? I'm thinking not by your "Sura 4:3" quote. The Qur'an isn't written like the Bible, with title, chapter, and verse.

I just transcribed that from the Qur'an I have sitting in front of me. Yes, I own one, no I'm not Muslim. I also own a Bible and a Book of Mormon but I'm neither of those either. I prefer to go at things informed, especially religious accusations.

And if he were a Muslim, it shouldn't matter. Yes, in nations where there is a national religion, they expect religion to be part of the politics. Have you ever spoken to an American Muslim? They are usually here because they or their parents appreciated the fact that religion and politics are separate.

Do you know the difference between Shia and Sunni? Shia are the ones that want their chocolate in their peanut butter (religion and politics mixed, if ya missed the metaphor), Sunni do not.
