I would definitely fall into the "shut up and let me read my Kindle" category. Singing to a captive audience ranks up there with preaching to a captive audience.
Respecting poetry has NOTHING to do with it. Being held captive in a metro rail car while someone imposes their will upon everyone is very disrespectful. Lucky Mr. Numbnutz didn't has his rear handed to him.
Where's the rest of the story about the riders being horrified? Did he proceed to strip while reading poetry or maybe wave a gun around or something? Cone on WJLA, don't give us half a story.
I think this is awesome, and people need to lighten up and have a little soul once in a while. I would love for someone to do this on my train!!!! Whoever yelled shut up is just a very sad, miserable, soul-less being.
I think he had to do this as a joke or a dare .but as long as the song isnt playing and he is having fun its ok once, ever. but something like this would make people laugh i hope during this glum holiday season.
