Not Just for October

In the two years since I became a member of the breast cancer club, I have known several more women who've had to join. All of us should be aware of breast cancer screening—every month is breast cancer awareness month, as far as I am concerned. And if someone you know is advised to have further tests of suspicious areas, or is diagnosed with the disease, you can send her a link to these videos (click on the "Email this" link below). I read everything I could during my treatment. But the calm and reliable experts in these videos would have been very helpful during my dark moments. I settled for a little recorder so I could replay my surgeon's words. Now women going through scary tests, or treatment, can find the relevant information in these videos.

And to find support and inspiration, be sure to check out our Faces of Breast Cancer group.
