Ok they wanted to adopt out a kitty. So then why did they show a pinata full of Mexican jumping beans?
I too learned that controlling a cat with a leash will not be tolerated.
Two yrs ago I was helping a friend rescue 4 kittens and the mama. I stupidly caught a kitten and wouldn't let go. I almost lost a finger and 6 mos later I had to care for them. I couldn't find a home for the vicious monster...aka finger shredder. So when I would go daily to feed the cute little monster, I would sing.
So now 1.5 yrs later, this cat talks ALL the time. The new owner thinks that its cute because it talks. But you cannot touch it. Once after the cat tried to trust me, it would bury its head in the couch and I could pet it. But it could not look at me or it would run. And one time I actually held it and it remained in the fetal position after I put it back down. Kinda sad.
BTW it is not the cat in my picture, thats Sweet P
The stupid bastard got what he deserved for choking the cat. How much could these folks know about animals and think this cat was willing to be a lap cat.
